'was' with 'gave' vs. 'give'
A. I was just relying on the information you gave me.
B. I was just relying on the information you give me.
1. I understand A is correct because the tense of the verb 'gave' is consistent with the verb 'was'. Do you think B with mixed tenses is also possible meaning the person used to rely on all the information another person usually gives (either before or now or in future)?
2. Do you think B is reasonable and idiomatic, then?
