"Was that you who broke the window?"

"Was that you who broke the window?"

I think that the sentence is a it-that cleft sentence, but I think that "Was it you who broke the window?" is grammatically correct or it is okay to use "that" in place of "it" in the sentence for the same meaning? Thank you so much as usual and have a good day.
