The purpose of that presentation was to make sure that information about the expected costs was/is collected, estimated and analysed.0-

0The sentence is essentially saying "In order to achieve A, we did B in order to achieve C", which, to me, is an awkward construction. Replacing "in order that" with "where" (or "in which") is a good suggestion, and is one way to relieve some of the awkwardness. Another possibility is to turn the sentence into "We did B in order to achieve C and hence A." Something like:02br
