Would it be correct to use 'made possible'?
This was made possible by the persistence of our staff.
This wouldn't have made possible if our staff wasn't persistent.
This was made possible because our staff is persistent.

Just one additional remark regarding the third sentence

This was made possible because our staff is/are persistent.

is fine but it has a different meaning from

This was made possible because our staff was/were persistent.

I think that "is" suggests that our staff' character trait is "being persistent", whereas "was" just says that they were persist
