Can I say,

"shout" is usually used only of people. You could say "The lion roared loudly".

If you mean that someone set up or threw a net to trap the lion then I prefer "with a net", "using a net" or "in a net".

"caught by a net" is possible, but the process of placing the net and the lion's being trapped by it seem more separated to me --
