I reply to your letter relating to unanswered phone call and short messaging system (SMS) between 06th till 07th March 2013.
I would to apologize for my action did not response to phone call/SMS on the said period. This is due to myself was not in Malaysia and not subscribe to any roaming service.
For your info, during that period, I was in Phuket, Thailand for family holiday. The trip was been plan since July 2012 and I was applied for annual leave on 22nd Jan 2013. Please refer attached flight booking email and itinerary for your info.
Kindly be informed before I took the holiday, all related works and email has been settled and replied with Project Manager aware that I will not in Malaysia during the leave.
Pertaining to taken leave without approval, applying for holiday leave was been done on 22nd Jan 2013, 44 days before planned leave by approval of my Project Manager, En. XXXX. Under article 14.8 of the TERMA XXXXX ENGINEERING, “Semua permohonan cuti mestilah dikemukakan untuk kelulusan pengurus bahagian atau Ketua Eksekutif dalam tempoh 3 hari bekerja sebelum cuti berkenaan diambil oleh kakitangan berkenaan”, based on this, I believed I did not breach any Terma dan Syarat Perkhidmatan XXXX.
I hope this is sufficient to explain my error and make clear to you that is not my intention to response to XXX’s CEO and XXX’s Project Manager phone call.
I would be grateful if you could re-consider the decision of disciplinary action against me.
