Warm to razors?

Hi, can somebody tell me what this sentence means please:

"The motion warming them, oh god, warming them to razors and nails and blood gone acid."

It's about a man, who had an accident and found himself in the ocean, naked and cold.

Thanks in advance.

Top answer

The motion warmed his limbs. The limbs, which had previously been numbed by cold, began transmitting excruciating pain, as of being cut with razors, and of being pierced with nails, and of having acid in their veins.
