War time

Hi,
do I need to use any article before "war time" in: "During war time parents worry that their sons will be called up to the army"?

Thank you

No, you don't need to use an article before "wartime"; but remember that it is a single word compound noun as in "wartime" NOT "war time"... wartime • noun: a period during which a war is taking place. Hope that helps...
