WANT - a rare usage???

Want is to be used with - to + infintive

I want to go or I want you to go

What about this one?

Paul wanted there be no mistake!

It seems to be the subjuntive here.

PS Is it something what can be used sometimes? I suspect that want used to be used with the subjuntive.
