Wandering or Wondering

Hi Everyone,

I am more of a mathematician and sometimes get confused when i have to choose either wandering or wondering?

I am writing an email that starts "Just wandering or wondering if you have had a chance to look into this yet?"

this is a chaser email regarding sample requests for work

any help would be appreciated

You wonder how he graduated. He never studied. You have a question in you mind.
If you are wandering on the street, you are walking about aimlessly with no clear direction as to where to go.
