Walking the beach...

Chloe: My dream career is over while Lois and Clark
are walking the beach with matching press passes
together.
Enjoy their careers as journalists?
Oh, and did I mention that i was actually able to hold on to
"happily ever after" for about 2.3 seconds
before my marriage imploded?
Oliver: Is this the part where you
belt out the soprano's aria and drive a dagger
into your corset?
Kill herself?

Chloe: It's just, I would love to know
how she does it.
Oliver: You know, chloe,
if I didn't know you any better, I'd say there was a hint
of jealousy in there.
Chloe: No. It's just with all these Debbie ups
and downers
(bad thing that occured?) lately, I guess it would be really nice
to leave it all behind and be back in the bullpen. Become a reporter again?

Thanks, Philip! It does make sense. Clark is starting to fall for Lois.
