0 01font00Johnny Cash music was on the radio alot when I was growing up, some of his songs are among my favourites, I guess that would contribute to my enjoyment of the movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it, good story. I suspect his relationship with June Carter was cleaned up a bit though. 02br

As devout Christians, it took a lot of prodding for them to finally admit to the screenwriters that they had indeed "given into temptation" once earlier. 12br 12br 10On a side note, I want to emphasize how impressed I was with both Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon's performances.

00 Yes their singing was very good, though one thing I love about Johnny Cash's voice is how low he could go. They would have chosen songs that were easier for Joaquin to sing I guess. I agree he did a great job.02br
