WAKES YOU UP vs HELPS YOU WAKE UP

How would you naturally say this please?

1 Coffee helps you wake up in the morning.

2 Coffee wakes you up in the morning.

Thank you

I would say them both, though the first one seems more formal to me as the second one isn't technically correct (in the fact that I am already awake when I drink my coffee).
