Waiting

Hey guys, I was wondering how should I use the word waiting, in a sentence.
Let's take some examples that confuses me:
I'm waiting your feedback OR I'm waiting for your feedback.
I'm waiting you to come OR I'm waiting for you to come.
I'm waiting someone's call OR I'm waiting for someone's call?

Top answer

I'm waiting for your feedback. I'm waiting for you to come. I'm waiting for someone's call.

  • I'm waiting for your feedback.
  • I'm waiting for you to come.
  • I'm waiting for someone's call.
  • "wait" almost never takes a direct object (the exception that seems to be given most often is the expression "wait one's turn").
  • "await" takes a direct object: "I'm awaiting your feedback".
