Wait / wait for

Let's wait for other members.
Let's wait for another member's post.
Let's wait another member.
Let's wait another member coming.

Are they all correct? I'm not sure how to use wait and wait for.

It's either

Let's wait.

(and then stop -- don't add anything more)

or

Let's wait for ...

(and add whoever or whatever you're waiting for - noun)

or

Let's wait until ...

(and add the event or action you're waiting for - a clause).

It's not correct to say Let's wait someone

await means wait for. It's more formal than wait for and not used as much. It is more literary, and as such it can be used with inanimate subjects (last example below).

I eagerly await your reply.
I respectfully await your decision.
What dangers await us when we arrive?

You mean wait your turn and wait tables? Those are about the only uses of transitive waitthat there are!
