Here, I'm talking about (squash) the game. It is not the vegetables. If so what the right choice can be. As I read in a book if the activity or the hobby ends by (ing) like swimming, walking, running and so we usually use (go) with it.e.g. I sometimes go swimming. That's unfortunate because that's the best answer. I have never played squash. "tried" is OK too. "done" is the least appropriate choice.
