Wade through something

I can't work out the meaning of "wad through it". Any help?

More context would be helpful. As to "to wade": imagine you're in a more or less shallow pond, you've got to reach the other side, so you "wade" (= walk through the water) through to the other side.

Ok, my fault. I wrote it down in my vocabulary notebook and some minutes ago I was revising and I didn't know the meaning, as I was surfing this site, I didn't look in the book I saw "wade through sth". Now I did, it's clear, see:

"I've got loads of work to do. It'll take me ages to wade through it" (=fiinsh, isn't it?)

But thanks even so, because I didn't know the meaning
