My suggestion, others may have other ideas - #1 Photos are instances of truths in action, not the truths themselves. But they are fragments of time and space, scenes taken from particular angles at chosen moments, not the whole, so they represent the author's choice and interest rather than the whole, balanced reality. However they are real and not chosen to deceive or force answers.
