Vowel

I find it really hard to pronounce the word "vowel"?

On YouTube, is it actually "w" sound or "a?" sound?

Thanks.

The "w" may be weaker or stronger according to personal or arbitary variation. Both are OK, but I would say make it a bit weaker than full value. l/ without introducing some kind of a (weak) "w" sound.

The ? may also be reduced so as to make the word almost one syllable.
