'voucher' vs. 'coupon'

Hi,
What's the difference between 'voucher' and 'coupon'? It seems to me that both terms mean 'a piece of paper with which you can buy things free of charge or in a lower price.

Many thanks,
Nessie.

They do mean the same thing, but the contexts are usually different. Coupons are printed on boxes (or inside the boxes), in newspapers, magazines, or on-line for you to print out. Coupons are available to anyone who takes the trouble to clip them and hand them in to any merchant who will redeem them for face value, or maybe even double or triple face value.
