Can I say,

(i) Yesterday was a sunny day. John's school had a cleanliness campaign. Many pupils's parents volunteered to help them. They mowed the lawn in the field and planted some flowers around the school compound.

(ii) Some parents volunteered to join the campaign. They planted some flowers to beautify the school.

(iii) They grew some flowers to decorate the school.

(iv) They mowed (grass) and planted flowers.
