Can I say,

(a) My parents volunteered to come to school to clean the school.

(b) Some volunteers swept the classroom and around the school.

Hi,

From my point of view either of these are correct, but it's better to change the first one this way:

My parents volunteered to come to school for cleaning up.( to avoid repeating school)
