Volunteer experience

I'm volunteering in a free pharmacy in a free clinic. I want to explore this field because I maybe will apply for a pharmacy school besides a graduate school for a master degree. Most of the patients have diabetes, so most of the medications here are for diabetes. There are also many generic medications such as ibubrofen, acetaminophen, etc. There are a licensed pharmacist and two pharmacist students. These students dispense the medications and consult with the patients. I help them in refilling the medications. I have to be careful in counting the medications, and also I am trying to learn the names of the medications, which may help me find them more easily. I also observe how the pharmacists work and interact with patients. Overall, I have been able to gain knowledge about pharmacy and to see if it is right for me.
