Volleyball

We're at a college volleyball game and my friend keeps talking about everyone around us. So I say:

I don't really care about the crowd, because I'm enjoying the volleyball game. And

I don't really care about the crowd, because I'm enjoying a volleyball game.

Can both be used?

Hi, Both of you know what game is meant, so the first sentence would be the natural choice. Yet, I would omit volleyball because it is understood. Regards
