He will be a doctor - active futureHe is being rude- actice progressive
Even in case of non finite verbs
Being/to be on time is must- simple active non finite
Having a degree is must- simple active gerund (not perfect gerund since there is no verb) correct
So basically it means to be in state rather than being acted upon right?
Last thing, in case of past participle working as adjective.
He was tired- activeBut if we say he was tired of/by something then it becomes passive since it is now working as verb rather than an adjective
So in conclusion voice in such a case is dependent on the way we perceive it right?
