[vocabulary question] surprise mixed with "upsetness" ?
Dear All,
I know that there's no such word as "upsetness" but I'm looking for something that would convey the feelings of being both upset and surprised that something didn't happen (while I was utterlyconvinced it did)
For example:
I've been just going through my e-mails and to my surprise and __________ I realized that the e-mail that I thought had been sent to you months ago had/has been sitting in my e-mail up to this very day! I'm also not sure if using present perfect is correct there since we are operating within the past...
Thanks
