Hello Mary,

1. Does your pain interfer with any activities of daily living?

2. Has the pain spread to other parts of your body?

3. What made you decide to come and see my today?

Often, patients will not fully understand the term "activities of daily living". I have sometimes opted for "Does your pain interfer with any part of your daily routine".

Hope
