Vocabulary q no. 2 - endeavor/undertaking/project/venture

Dear All,

Please don't think of me as pain in the neck Emotion: wink but I have yet another question about vocab... When I use my thesaurus all these words are listed as synonyms:
  1. endavor
  2. undertaking
  3. project
  4. venture
Thus, I'd like to ask you, if there's any real difference between them. Let's just focus on one sentece, shall we?

His company has been very successful in recent years and has accomplished/finished many construction endeavors/projects/undertakings/ventures.

In my humble opinion... there's hardly any difference...

I see. Thank you. Hmm... How about these collocations? I think they are OK.

1. A business endeavor
2. A business venture
3. A business undertaking
4. A construction engineering venture
5. A construction engineering endeavor
6. A construction engineering undertaking

No need to explain anything, just give me thumbs up or down. Appreciate it!

Then use what I gave you. You don't need all those words: use 'construction project' or 'engineering project'.
