S. Single room = one bed (could be a twin size, full size, queen or king, depending on the hotel). Double = full size bed or two twins (check with the hotel) Many hotels who offer a queen or king, charge for two people, no matter how many people are staying there.

It's best to check with the hotel, and European hotels differ from those in the U.S.

There are probably regional differences in how the rooms are referred to. A double room would have two beds. The size of the beds may or may not be specified. All beds other than "twin" will accomodate two people - full size, queen size, king size.

A suite would be two or more rooms combined, not necessarily all bedrooms.

Sometimes advertisements specify the rate as, eg., $

The hotel is in United Kingdom. And I saw this table:

Superior en-suite - a larger room, with extra fancy interior decoration and possibly a minibar, with a bathroom accessed from the room.
Double/Twin = a room for two people, in which the bed can be either a double bed or two single beds. Many smaller hotels will have single beds that can be linked together to make a double bed.
The room with private bathroom will not have direct access
