AlpheccaStarsHi DJB:Have you tried this master look-up?http://www.onelook.com/groetjes,A-sNope. Maybe a stupid question, but how would you suggest I use it?
AlpheccaStarsWell, you can use Google translate to get the Dutch word into English, and then look it up. (It uses a flexible word match, and covers specialized dictionaries)You can also use the Dutch-Englsh dictionary to get a handle on the English word to start with. Are these words so specialized that they do not appear in any dictionary? If you need a full essay on acade
AlpheccaStarsLet me know how it works out! A-sOkay, well, to be frank, I didn't take up your suggestion. Sorry.
dokterjokkebrokWhat I did do was buy (read: download) the Longman Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics Dictionary. Now, I know you're going to say, 'hey, but isn't that English only?'. Yes, you're right, it is, but the entries and definitions in it are very good and detailed, which makes it very easy for me to match the English terms with the Dutch ones. Very useful!
