Hello
Is the following bold phrase correct?
-It was hard work, and one for us had to stand with a gun on the hill to watch for the last three mutineers.
Does the phrase need the indefinite article 'a' before 'hard work'? Or is it OK as it is?
Regards
JA
It's OK as is. 'Work' is uncountable here .
