On his finger? A ring?
Around his waist? A sword?
On his head? A hat?

Where on the body? And are you sure it's the same for Indians and Arabs?

AnonymousYes, on the head.
The Sikhs wear a turban, but Indians in general don't. Arabs don't wear turbans as far as I know. There's probably an Arab word for their particular headdress, but I don't know what it's called. Wait and see if someone else can answer in greater detail.
