Hello, Abdo—and welcome to English Forums. I am not sure of your problem, but I can give you this advice: Dictionary entries may be organized in two ways: the definitions may be ordered (1) newest meaning first or (2) commonest meaning first. However, all the meanings are possible, so you need to decide each time which definition best fits the context in which you find the word.

You could try using a Learners' Dictionary.
The meanings are simplified.

Compare these two definitions for eg the word 'chair'
