what does this phrase mean ' class up the wazoo '

Top answer

Hi, It means 'a lot of class' 'Up the wazoo' is a body-*******-related expression. It's somewhat offensive, although there are much worse expressions. Anyway, don't say it to the Queen of England, or in a job interview.

Hi,

Could be.
It depends on the full sentence and context.

up the wazoo can refer to the highest pitch. Have you ever heard children say PPPLLLEEEASSSEEE! over and over until they get their way? It's a tactic. They raise their influence over you to the highest pitch and you give in saying it's so bothersome to hear; you 'give in' to their 'demands.' Thanks.

The ice cream truck is coming up the road and the loud speaker is sounding nearer and near. Your children jump up and around and raid your space in the highest pitch with 'I want ice cream, please,.... Over and over, up the wazoo you hear this begging and give in to buying ice cream. Thanks

Hi,

That doesn't seem like a very typical or natural use to me. You'd more typically have something up the wazoo, not hear something up the wazoo. But with such slang, there are no real rules..
