Hi,

Is this phrase- faintest possibility- meaningful?

It was not a concern for it was/is the faintest possibility.

I usually hear the faintest idea but the faintest possibility seems ok to me. However you do need another negative verb in that sentence. It wasn't a concern because there wasn't the faintest possibility (of something happening).

Thank you, Ivanhr.

Please tell whether this is all right.

It wasn't a concern for there was only a faintest possibility of his failing this test.

Use either

It wasn't a concern because/for there wasn't the faintest possibility for him to fail this test/of his failing this test.

It wasn't a concern because/for there was only a slight possibility that he would fail this test/of his failing this test.
