I was wondering if it's possible to put attendance and fluctuating in one sentence. Do they collocate well?
For instance:
The class is very interesting and usually goes very well but it suffers from fluctuating attendence. Last class went very well but the fluctuating attendance is a serious problem (was a serious problem?)
Thanks

I don't see why not. They look fine to me, except that I'd write The last class ... for the second one.

(Also, you have a typo, attend a nce in the first sentence)
