good afternoon sir,

it is satya. sir i have a problem to understand the wordmeanig of post (in office). In dictionary ,it's meaning is shown -job

suppose - post of inspector,but here inspector is not job,it is post name. plz sir explain me meaning of post or position in office.

here in office the POST mean "Designation" on which designation a particular person works. Like You said inspector, inspector is not a job but inspector is a person whose post is this and his work is Inspection.
