Vocab for games

Hi!

This is my question:

When kids play a game, for instance blindman's buff or hide and seek or some ball games, and one of them wants to be considered out of the game for a short period of time (because, for instance, he got slightly injured or he got called by his parents), in my country, he calls out a word: "piwa!!!" This means that he is to be considered by the other players temporarily out of the game, but he can come back any time, when he has announced smth like: "ready!" or "I'm back!"

Is there any such word as our "piwa", to announce one's temporary suspension from the game?

Not that I know of, but it's an interesting idea to have one word. "

It would be something like "I'm taking a time out" or "I"m out for a few minutes."

Yes, the idea of "time out" is quite appropriate, is there any kids' slang for it?

Thanks

As far as I remember, we just said "Time out!"
