Hi, To me, irony is when you intend to do something in a certain way but which results in something totally different, often humorously... For example, imagine a couple of firemen doing a fire drill and setting fire to a building, which goes well, until the fire spreads to the chief's office, which burns down. Nobody is hurt, but isn't it ironic that what was supposed to be a routine drill, resulted in a mess like that?
