Vocab.

which sentance is incorrect . I need to know for my vocab. Okay here it goes. Its for the word Permeate

is it a,b,c, or d

a.Some scientists believe that massive amounts of dust Permeated Earths atmosphere after a collision with an astroid, causing the extincion of dinosaurs.


b. The smell permeating our house could only be from a skunk.

c. When the crowd had heard that their candidate had won, feelings of elation permeated the hall.

d. The toughness of leather makes it difficult to permeate with an ordinary needle.

In my opinion, (d) should be "penetrate."

(a) and (b) are fine. I wouldn't personally use (c), but I suppose it's correct.
