Is it correct to say "to bear the consequences"?
Which one is more correct: "cookbook" or "cookery book"?
In case of using the idiom "to see eye to eye", a verb should be put in plural or singular? Ex.: Ann's mother DOESN'T or DON'T see eye to eye with her friend lately.

It's not ungrammatical, but I'm more familiar with "to suffer the consequences" as a fixed phrase.

Mister Micawber, thank you very much for the explanation! As for the "cookbook" and "cookery book", I guess both are correct grammatically, just "cookbook" is more common. I've heart of the third option "cooking book", is it equally common?

Thank you CalifJim! Does it mean that "to suffer the consequences" have only negative connotation, I mean it's used only when the consequences are negative? How one can SUFFER about something positive
