Vivid vs. lucid

Hi,

do you say a "lucid" or a "vivid" dream? Or do both mean the same?

Thank you in advance!

A vivid dream is usually a dream that is easily remembered, a dream that seems very real. Lucid dreaming is, as far as I know, a technique for controlling your own dreams. Supposedly, through the use of certain techniques, you can guide the progress of a dream, as if you were at least half awake at the time.
