visiting for 3 days

I know that the verb combination 'be doing' has multiple meanings. When 'be doing' is used in the meaning of the action in progress, it can not be with durational expression like 'for' , ' since'

So how about the meaning of expressing future?
For example : next week I'm visiting my parents for 3 days.
Is it possible?
