"3 nations issue visa waivers for ROC passport holders

TAIPEI--Taiwanese passport holders can now obtain visa waivers, landing visas or e-visas to 161 countries and territories after three more countries recently granted Taiwan such privileges, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Wednesday.

Starting from Jan. 1, 2016, Taiwanese passport holders will be able to enter the South American country of Chile visa-free, the ministry said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan in Central Asia has granted Taiwan landing visa treatment, while the East African country of Rwanda has included Taiwan in its e-visa system, the ministry added. ...................."
