VietNamese personalities

Thinking of VN, people used to think of a small country related to war in Southeast Asia. However VN now is a place where agricultural and diversified cultural activities happen, where the industrialization is proceeding, and where many young people are contributing to the country's development. Consequently,such words as BRAVE, INDUSTRIOUS, and ACTIVE are mentioned as VietNamese ( VNese) personalities.
In history, VN has been known for its struggle against powerful enemies to protect its whole territory. In spite of being slaved, the VNese never forgot the obligation to liberate their country. Thousands of people was ready to die, and many thousands of people died for it. So courage has become the traditional and honorable personality of VNese that every VNese surely feels proud of when telling about their ancestors.
After the war, the VNese tried to work hard to overcome the difficult period when every household had to live in a very low living standard. Continuing the forefather's tradition, the VNese now attempt to improve their lives. Many businessmen have been successful due to their continuous effort. Trung Nguyen, a famous coffee brand in VN, is a typical example that has proven the HARD-WORKING of VNese.
Nowadays, before the door open to the world, VN is standing in front of the most important event : The INTEGRATION. Being a member in WTO also brings plenty of opportunities and challenges. Over 50% of population is under 30 so I can say this is the time for young people to express themselves. They are easy to absorb new information and technology. They are eager to try new things. They are not afraid of difficulties and risks. On the street you can see many groups of students speaking English with foreigners.Moreover there are a number of students studying in different countries hope to aplly their knowledge for the country's progress. These show a new characteristic of VNese in the new age:the ACTIVENESS.
Finally, though VN doesn't have to face with war or weapons, we have to cope with environmental, populous, and economic problems. Therefore, the VNese need new characteristics besides the new ones including BRAVE in renovation, hard working in business and flexible in studying in order to change our position in the world map.
