"...victims and their family may feel unfair."

Hi all

I was just wondering if this reads naturally. I am particular unsure about the part in bold. I reckon I could have written '...their family may feel they have been treated unfairly', but I wanted to keep it succint.

This can lead to a more dispassionate judge but victims and their family may feel unfair.

Thank you

Yours is too succinct; it is ungrammatical. Try this:

This can lead to a more dispassionate judge, but victims and their family may feel unfairly treated.

To me this feel incomplete.

Victims and their families may feel they have been unfairly treated?

They cannot feel unfair. That doesn't work.

It may be unfair that this can lead to a more dispassionate judge.

Does this help?
