Vice President (in School)

I am bit confused with the title of vice president in the US universities.

In Taiwan, we have only one president and one vice president (who is inferior only to president in school). But I find that there may be two or more vice presidents in the US universities. I know it’s a bit troublesome to explain this, but could anyone explain this to me?


What are some possible administrative ranks?

Besides, how do you call those staff in the residence halls, I mean, their occupations.
Residence Hall Coordinator (Official Staff)
Residence Hall Manager (Official Staff)
Residence Hall Counselor (Official Staff)
Resident Assistant (Student), What if there are more than two persons?
Any student organization that is responsible for assisting students?

Are these terms correct?
