[vibrate] or [vibrating]

(1) While I was watching TV, the people upstairs were dancing. I could feel my apartment vibrate.

(2) While I was watching TV, the people upstairs were dancing. I could feel my apartment vibrating.

What is the correct verb form of "vibrate" Please help me. Thank you.
