Vibrate

Can we say that people vibrate when they are nervous? Is it possible to say: "Do you vibrate?".

That can't be right. What about when we say that someone "gives off good vibrations"?

He or she must be vibrating then, right?

No, I don't think we are talking about physical vibrations in that case. We are talking about the positive effect they have on other peoples moods, by way of some metaphysical and unspecific energy, which may or may not be transmitted by them in waveform, hence 'vibrations'.
