0I would say that in North America it's more often /vi@/ rather than /vaI@/, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this is one of those words that don't really have much to do with region, but rather idiolectal personal preference. So, my impressions would be clouded by the people I've heard say word. However, I have always heard the word "viaduct" pronounced as /vaI@dVkt/. In general, I tend
